water, water, everywhere....

there's nothing more refreshing than an ice cold drink on a hot summer day.  though we haven't quite reached those boiling hot days here in utah, some of you are already experiencing triple digits.  promise me you'll all try to ditch the sugary sweet drinks that are so easy to pour and chug down.  water is so much better for you and will keep you full and hydrated way better than any soda, lemonade, or sweet tea.

here are 10 fresh ideas to do with your water this summer:


  1. lemon cucumber water
    • in a  large pitcher, add sliced organic lemon and sliced organic cucumber
    • pour water over top
    • let sit in the fridge overnight for best flavor
    • refreshing & alkalizing
  2. berry lemon balm
    • in a large pitcher, add the berries and smash them a little with a wooden spoon
    • with a mortar and pestle, muddle the lemon balm
    • add to the pitcher and cover with water
    • let sit in the fridge overnight for best flavor
    • high in antioxidants
  3. prebiotic & probiotic boost
    • in a large blender, add one bottle kombucha, 1 ripe banana, 2 cups ice, and water
    • blend until it's a nice slushy consistency
    • enjoy right away

  4. watermelon and rosemary
    • in a large pitcher, add in watermelon chunks
    • smash the chunks with a wooden spoon.

    • brew up some green tea
    • pour into a large pitcher

    • slice lemons and limes into wedges

    • throw squeezed wedges into pitcher

    • in a large pitcher, add sliced organic lemon and sliced ginger
